Rick Carlisle was created in Ogdensburg, NY in October 1959. Carlisle was a safeguard who performed at Lisbon Central SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, the University of Maine, and the University of Virginia. He was drafted #70 by the Boston Celtics in the 1984 draft and performed there from 1984 to 1987. In 1987 he performed for the Albany Patroons of the CBA and became a member of the brand new York Knicks from 1987 to 1988 and the brand new Jersey Nets from 1988 to 1989.
