Jamaal Wilkes was created in Berkeley, California in-may 1953. He was a 6’6″ little forward and power forwards who was simply an All-CIF basketball star at Ventura SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL and CIF Course4A Participant of the entire year at Santa Barbara SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL. He played university basketball at UCLA from 1971 to 1974 where he won back again to back again NCAA Championships and was a two period Consensus first-group All-American. Wilkes’ #52 was retired by UCLA. He was drafted #11 by the Golden Condition Warriors in the 1974 NBA Draft. Wilkes performed for Golden Condition from 1974 to 1977 and for the LA Lakers from 1977 to 1985. He completed his career with the LA Clippers in 1985. During his NBA profession Wilkes was a four period NBA Champion. He was also a three period NBA All-Superstar and two period NBA All-Defensive Second Group selection. Wilkes was called NBA Rookie of the entire year and was area of the NBA All-Rookie First Group in 1975. His #52 was retired by the LA Lakers. He became vice president of basketball functions for the LA Superstar of the ABA in 2000.
