He’s most widely known for co-founding the Dark Panther Party with Huey Newton. His family members relocated to Oakland, California when he was eight years aged and he dropped out of senior high school and became a member of the U.S. Air Pressure before becoming discharged for poor conduct. He gained his senior high school diploma and studied at Merritt University and became a member of the Afro-American Association where he fulfilled Newton. The set was influenced by Malcolm X and produced the Dark Panthers in 1966. He authored the publication Seize enough time: The Tale of the Dark Panther Party and Huey P.
