Al Kaline was created in Baltimore, Maryland in December 1934. He was the right fielder who batted and threw correct handed. He performed for Southern SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL and bypassed the minor group program. Kaline signed with the Detroit Tigers as a “reward baby” and made $35,000. He produced his Major Group Baseball debut for Detroit in 1953 and performed his entire profession with the Tigers until 1974. During his profession Kaline won a global Series championship in 1968. He was an 18 time MLB All-Superstar and a 10 period Gold Glove Award champion. Kaline earned the American Group batting championship in 1955 and the Roberto Clemente Award in 1973. His #6 was retired by the Detroit Tigers. Kaline is certainly an associate of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and was inducted in 1980 on the initial ballot. After he retired Kaline became a Television color commentator for the Tigers and he’s still a front workplace official for the group. He finished his profession with 3,007 hits, 399 home works, and 1,583 RBI.
